Because everyone is so polite and makes you feel safe.<\/p>\n
Because the few children there are, are little princes and princesses.<\/p>\n
Because the map of Tokyo must have been drawn by a drunk emperor thousands of years ago.<\/p>\n
Because when people don\u00b4t understand you well\u2026they still try to help you.<\/p>\n
Because taxi drivers open the door for you\u2026from their seats.<\/p>\n
Because over here you don\u00b4t have to look like a geek to love technology.<\/p>\n
Because Tokyo is a collection of little villages that blend into a city.<\/p>\n
Because the best food they have, miso ramen, is food everyone can afford.<\/p>\n
Because your bathtub is expected to overflow.<\/p>\n
Because people care that you don\u00b4t get sick if they are.<\/p>\n
Because the Japanese are as curious about you are you are about them.<\/p>\n
Because when you look at Japanese photography you see the world from another angle.<\/p>\n
Because saying no seems to be a personal failure.<\/p>\n
Because tonight at Cafe Salvatore in Roppongi they gave us a chocolate cake after they had closed just because they saw how much we wanted it!<\/p>\n
